~Where the voices of Japanese and African youths come together~
This TICAD V, 20 years after it had been launched , is the first time to gather and to advocate the voices of the youths .
What kind of voices do you think youths, who are directly affected in themes such as “employment” and “education” , have towards the development policies of Africa?
What kind of opinions do you think youth have towards the relationship between Japan and Africa?
Are you interested to hear the “voice” of students from Japan and Africa that will be gathered throughout the 11 days of “Africa-Japan Youth Summit” held by TICAD V Student Project?
In the first section, there will be an announcment of the advocacy by the youths presented towards the full session of TICAD V, and in the second section there will be a panel discussions by the co-hosts of TICAD V and the supporter’s organizations.
Our guests as a panelist are ambassador’s from countries of Africa, TICAD Goodwill ambassadors from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the director of JICA, the representative of Development Bank of Japan, the representative of UNICEF Japan.
There will also be photo exhibition and a coffee booth.
